Feeling hot, hot, hot.
Australia’s southeastern cities will be swapping coats for t-shirts at the end of this week as the warmest weather since April is forecasted.
Beaches in Sydney are set to see some of the busiest days since April, with the unseasonably warm weather starting on Thursday and lasting right through the weekend. The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is reporting that Thursday will hit highs of 26 degrees, Friday 28 degrees and peaking on Saturday and Sunday as both days are set to reach 30 degrees.
Heading south, frosty Melbourne is in for some much-needed sunshine. Come Thursday Melbournians will be able to shed their woolly layers as BOM is predicting highs of 25 degrees. City-siders will be able to leave their jackets at home on Friday and Saturday as both days are set to reach 26 degrees, while the weather will return to cooler temps on Sunday with highs of 23 degrees forecasted.

Adelaidians will also get to bask in the sun this week. Peaking early, Adelaide will hit highs of 28 degrees on Thursday with the weather cooling over the weekend. Friday will reach 26 degrees, according to BOM, while Saturday and Sunday will top out at 25 degrees. Perfect picnic weather.
While Brisbanians are accustomed to glorious spring sun they’ll be treated to some extra warm weather this week. Temps are expected to reach 25 degrees on Thursday, 26 degrees on Friday and 27 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
Our southernmost capital city, Hobart, is also set to see some warmer weather. Thursday will hit 24 degrees and Friday will be a comfortable 22 degrees. Unfortunately, the warm weather won’t be hanging around for the weekend as it falls below 20 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
