Fizz the season.
South Australians are dancing in the streets, we assume, with the announcement of a miraculous return of Halls soft drinks.
The regional drink was discontinued 23 years ago but after a $500,000 donation from the Malinauskas government which has supported the historic beverage company in its return to production from the Thriving Regions Fund into the bottling facility.
Founded in 1849 by George Hall at a site in Marryatville in South Australia, the company was sold to Coca-Cola in 1972 before being discontinued in 2000.

Halls soft drinks are once again under production at the former MOJO Kombucha production facility at Willunga in South Australia and are expected to return to shelves in the coming months.
The beverage company seized the opportunity after Coca Cola – the owner of MOJO Kombucha – announced it would be leaving the kombucha market in 2022.
Halls have stayed true to the nostalgia for the relaunch, selling the new range in classic glass bottles in both 330ml and 1-litre varieties.
