Consider us shaken and stirred.
There are few movie moments more iconic than James Bond ordering a martini. In the case of Daniel Craig’s Bond, that would be the moment the world’s sexiest super spy confidently orders a Vesper Martini mid-Casino Royale poker game.
It seems the good folks over at Belvedere Vodka may also have committed that scene to memory, as they’ve cast the UK star as the centrepiece in their latest ad campaign – and boy, is it a doozy.
Directed by Taika Waititi (yes, he makes an appearance), the ad creates a world in which a tank top-wearing Craig is free to dance across Paris without a lick of press attention, in pursuit of an ice-cold glass of vodka.
The fun new campaign was brought to life by a who’s who of big showbiz names, from JaQuel Knight’s choreography, to Christine Centenera’s styling. The campaign stills were shot by the legendary Juergen Teller, and as you may have suspected, that is Waititi’s partner, Rita Ora, performing the original track with Giggs.
