KFC is going where no fast-food restaurant has gone before, into the fragrance biz. The No. 11 Eau de BBQ comes in a sleek black and red 100ml bottle and aims to elicit the smoky scent of a barbecue, which is something that we weren’t aware people wanted to do.

“We’ve all been there – that unmistakable aroma of a BBQ drifting through the air, tantalising our senses and leaving us craving the taste of smoky goodness. But what if you could capture that irresistible scent in a bottle?” KFC said in a bizarre statement.

It’s not the first smell-based gimmick that the restaurant chain has pulled off – releasing a chicken-scented firelog and perfume in Spain, as well as a fried chicken-scented candle in NZ for reasons redacted.

There’s a catch though, the No. 11 Eau de BBQ is only available in the UK. And it has already sold-out on pre-order. But don’t be discouraged! We know for a fact that if you want to smell like a chicken tender value pack, all you have to do is hang around a KFC at 1am while you wait for your order. That aroma will stick around for days.
