Red Ripperz have had quite the journey these past few years. First came a name change, then they suddenly became a lot smaller. And I dunno about you, but I feel like they just don’t seem to stick to my teeth in that ‘I could lose a filling at any moment’ kind of way anymore. I miss those days. So does my dentist. 

But now Allen’s has decided to remember its small but dedicated Red Ripperz fan base, treating them to the new Allen’s Ripperz Remix. Featuring two new flavours – juicy Apple and bold, intense Grape – the Rippers Remix will join the classic raspberry-flavoured Red Ripperz with the aim of bringing a little more ‘wooh’ to your chew.

This follows findings from a social media poll that revealed 31 percent of Allen’s fans believe that the chewier the lolly is, the better. And that wasn’t just me voting 330 times. Honest.

Now pass me my dentures. I’ve got work to do.
