Perfect for social distancing.
All aboard for a romantic railway journey that’s unlike anything else you’ve experienced before.
The Vietage is a completely unique, custom-designed railway carriage that seats just twelve people. You’ll want to book your ticket well in advance, because this trip is by reservation only.

Designed and developed by Anantara hotels, the luxury train transports guests between the Anantara Hoi An and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas, along a picturesque route through south central Vietnam, taking in countryside views along the way.
The six-hour journey is an opportunity for guests to completely immerse themselves in the history, culture and glamour as they step back in time to a bygone era of luxury train travel.

While travelling between the cities of Da Nang and Quy Nhon, guests savour an expertly curated menu designed to channel the essence of Vietnam, with a decidedly unique French twist.
Passengers can dine on dishes such as Quy Nhon seafood salad, barley risotto and braised Wagyu neck, Da Lat strawberries and French-style crème brulée made with local Dong Nai chocolate.

When it’s time for a change of scenery, the sit-up bar offers regional craft beer, wine and snacks.

And for those who need a little more encouragement to relax, there’s also a dedicated spa treatment area, where guests can indulge in head and shoulder treatments as the Vietnamese countryside rolls by.

The Vietage departs from Da Nang every day at 9.31am and arrives at Dieu Tri Station in Quy Nong at 3.45pm, before embarking upon its return journey at 5.30pm and arriving back in Da Nang just after 11pm. It runs for eleven months of the year, only stopping during the annual Vietnamese Tet holiday period.

A ticket on board is priced from $185.00 US, including a three-course gourmet meal, drinks and a 30-minute spa treatment. Combination accommodation packages are also available with the Anantara Hoi An Resort and Anantara Quy Nhon Villas. For full details and to book, visit https://www.thevietagetrain.com/
