Veuve Clicquot has curated the ultimate lavish journey through Europe to wash away your holiday blues. From 5–7 June, join the lauded champagne house as they celebrate their 250 years of savoir-faire on a Solaire Adventure aboard the glamorous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

You’ll be collected from Paris for a private transfer to Reims, home of the celebrated champagne house, where the first ever bottles of Veuve Clicquot were shipped back in 1772. There, you’ll check in at the Hotel du Marc, Veuve Clicquot’s exclusive art-adorned private hotel set in a 19th century mansion. A VIP dinner hosted by cellar master Didier Mariotti follows, replete with live music, French gastronomy and a rare gift (queue the suspense music).

Save room for dinner; after a quick outfit change (we’re picturing Gal Gadot in Death on the Nile), head to one of the luxe dining cars for a four-course feast matched with Veuve Clicquot cuvées. A quick espresso, perhaps, and set off for Bar Car ‘3674, the social heart of the train, for a themed party coloured with live musicians and storytellers, before turning in for the night in your own private sanctuary.
