Wine Yarra Valley has launched virtual wine tastings – and we'll drink to that

delicious.

Sick of quarantinis? They're also delivering virtual tasting packs.

Wine lovers rejoice! Your favourite Victorian wine region has launched virtual cellar door tours and home delivered virtual tasting packs to get us all through isolation with our sanity intact.

That’s right, you do not have to drink alone… at least on Thursday nights. Because every Thursday for the foreseeable future, you can tune in for passionate sommelier chats about everything from music, footy, cheese and Ozark, to what makes a winemaker tick.

Savvy Chandon fans were treated to a chat with senior winemaker Dan Buckle last week and future virtual tours are set to include some of the region’s best vineyards, including Oakridge, Rob Dolan and Mac Forbes.

What’s more, you now have the option to have an expert-selected virtual tasting pack delivered to your door. The virtual cellar door pack will change every six weeks. The first one includes wines from Chandon, Mac Forbes, Oakridge Wines, Rob Dolan Wines, Seville Estate and Yarra Yering. And it only costs $252.00, which is 15% saving on the registered retail price.

Alternatively, those who prefer to choose your own adventure can customise a six-pack from a selection of more than 40 different Yarra Valley drops.

The virtual cellar door tastings are run every Thursday at 5pm on the Wine Yarra Valley Instagram and the expert-selected virtual tasting packs are available from Wine Yarra Valley.
