Fabbrica, the beloved CBD pasta joint by the Love Tilly Group, has opened a highly anticipated bread shop and bakery in Rozelle. Off the back of the success of a pop-up back in 2021, Fabbrica Bread Shop now has its permanent digs on Darling Street as part of Maloney’s Grocer. 

In the heart of Rozelle, the new Fabbrica bakery is the latest in a slew of outlets from the Big Smoke making the move to the Inner West suburb, including the ever-popular Totti’s by Merivale.

The bakery’s commitment to using high-quality ingredients, paired with expert craftsmanship, offers customers an unparalleled selection of freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, and more.

Fans of the OG Fabbrica will be well versed with the incredible stacked sandwiches, chocolate-filled bomboloni, banoffee tarts, focaccia slices, and Tathra Place pork and fennel sausage rolls but Alyce Bennett (ex-Humble, LPs Quality Meats) who will be in the kitchen with head baker Aniruddha Bhosekar has a few tricks up her sleeve.

“The sourdough and sandwiches we’re already known for at Fabbrica King Street will be key items at Rozelle, but I’m also really excited about a new banana saffron custard tart I’ve been trialling,” Bennett tells delicious. 

She continues “[I’ve been] experimenting with different flavours of maritozzi, sticky buns, cookies and scrolls.”

There are also some pretty incredible savoury treats available including a goat vindaloo pie, with high-quality meat from The Gourmet Goat Lady, north of Dubbo.

Shelves are stocked with the trademark Fabbrica sourdough loaves, coffee by The Little Marionette, and two dozen seats to set up camp at while you treat yourself to the short and snappy drinks list of tap beer, Spritz, and a few natural wines for good measure.
