They say every dog has its day and it turns out, they’re right! Melbourne pooches will be having a very good day when a pop-up pupper theme park lands in Melbourne this spring. 

Theme Bark is a pop-up theme park for dogs, and it’s coming to the Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts (PICA) on Saturday November 19th. 

The family-friendly event will be positively packed with fun for your favourite four-legged friend, including a giant dogstacle course, ball pit playpen and pooch pampering services like grooming.

You can enter your lil bow wow into competitions, including the doggy dash, pup pageant and even a talent show called ‘Dog Factor’ which aims to find Melbourne’s next doggy superstar. 

Meanwhile, the Barkery Lane pop-up market will bring together some of the best dog-friendly retailers, so you can shop for treats, clothes, toys and accessories together. 

Naturally, there’ll be plenty of puppycinos and doggy ice creams to go around, and food trucks, music and on-site bars for the bipeds.
