W Sydney is set to welcome guests in October 2023. It will be the largest W hotel to open globally, marking a flagship opening for the boundary-breaking luxury brand. 

And now, thanks to a partnership with luxury electric car brand, Genesis Motors, guests can arrive and explore in style. Genesis and W Sydney will offer a fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles for VIP pick-ups, special guest drives and staycation loans. 

W Sydney will be the third W hotel for Australia, in addition to the W Brisbane and recently opened W Melbourne. 

The W Sydney is guaranteed to completely transform the existing Darling Harbour precinct.

It will offer a collection of 593 stylish guestrooms, suites and serviced apartments. 

Alongside the accommodation will be the brand’s iconic pool WET DECK®, which will boast views of neighbouring Darling Harbour. 

Set to become a foodie paradise, the new W Sydney will also house a restaurant, two bars, a day spa, a state-of-the-art gym, and 925 square metres of event space, including an uber-luxe grand ballroom. 

The luxury hotel brand has also announced the appointment of Craig Seaward as General Manager of the highly-anticipated new hotel. 

Seaward takes on the new role in Sydney after a wildly successful 11 years as General Manager of the multi-award-winning W Bali-Seminyak. 

As General Manager, Mr Seaward will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the final build,  including recruitment and training of the 500+ team and managing all pre-launch activity to ensure the hotel opens to the sky-high W brand standard.
